- 01
We screen for quality
333 of 1,000 big US companies pass four tests: real cash flow, strong returns, growing sales, manageable debt.
- 02
We value every company
A fair value estimate from the cash flows in its SEC filings, plus Market Value: the average price paid since its last earnings.
- 03
We tell you when one dips
When a great company falls well below those levels and starts to turn, you get one plain text.
Our mission
Good prices on excellent companies.
Great businesses rarely go on sale, and when they do it’s usually in the middle of bad news. We watch them calmly, every day, and show our work: what each one is worth by our estimate, where its key levels are, and every call we make, in public.
A scorecard we can’t edit
Every alert is time-stamped and chained by fingerprint, so nothing can be quietly changed. 2 logged so far.

Questions
Is this investment advice?
No. It’s information: a company we consider high quality got cheaper by rules we publish in advance. What you do with it is your call.
What is Market Value?
The average price the market has paid since the company last filed thesis-changing news with the SEC: earnings, a big deal, a CEO change. Older prices were set on older information, so they don’t count. More.
How often will I hear from you?
When a rule fires. Some weeks that’s twice, some weeks it’s ten times. We don’t send filler.
Do the rules work?
On ten years of data they caught the actual low far more often than buying blind, and gave a clear stop. They did not reliably beat simply buying a deep dip. The Ledger tracks every live call from here on.
Do I need an app?
No. It’s a regular text message.
