The three reversal signal rules
Tested on ten years of data, fixed in advance, logged live.
A panic day on heavy volume in a quality name already in a dip, then a close back above that day’s high. Stop under the panic low.
A bullish engulfing or hammer close while the stock trades under its Market Value. Stop under the candle’s low.
The MACD turns up from deeply oversold while the company sits in a dip. Stop under the recent low.
Backtests are hypothetical: on ten years of data the rules caught the actual low far more often than buying blind and gave a clear stop, but did not reliably beat simply buying a deep dip. Live results are on the Ledger.
